5 Feng Shui Tips for an Appealing Front Entrance

The Front Entrance Brings in the Life Force to Your Home

The Front Entrance of your home is the place where you want to make a welcoming statement.

Feng Shui is a cross between an art and a science. Feng Shui is the Ancient Chinese philosophy dating back more than 5000 years ago. It started as a way to view how the Universe works. They observed how nature moved and directed the elements, cycles, rhythms of rivers, clouds, and how this energy created chaos or flowed in harmony.

This also included furniture. Have you noticed that Asia furniture has rounded corners? A balanced environment was and is important.

Balance is the one of the most import aspects of Feng Shui.

The concepts of Feng Shui are still valid today as they were in ancient times perhaps more so with our fast-paced lifestyle and how it affects our environment at home.Cannon Beach Flowers

Feng Shui is a system of understanding the conscious and unconscious symbols surrounding you and your identifications with them. To put Feng Shui principles in your own environment, the front entrance of your home is one of the first things you and people see.  Here are some tips to put in action for the front entrance of your home.

What is the message of the front entrance of your home?

Here are 5 Feng Shui Tips for an Appealing Front Entrance:

  1. Ask yourself – Is your entrance giving the most positive message it can?
  2. A reflection of “us” at that moment is inside and outside our home.
  3. Be image conscious and look at your entrance.  As you stop at the curb, take a moment – ask yourself what stands out the most.
  4. Is your entrance attractive?
  5. Does it show it is cared for? Park your car and come back out to the front to look at it again.

Take time to use the principles of balance and Feng Shui and see how it influences your home and environment. Even though some of the same principles can be used for decorating, there is much more to using Feng Shui for balance in your life.

This is a testimonial from one of Darielle’s satisfied clients

Testimonial: Sherry Sherod, Snoqualmie, WA

I have been a client of Darielle Archer since 1996.  She is a pleasure to work with and I appreciate her expertise in all of these fields.  In March of 2013, while I was home on medical leave recovering from reconstructive breast surgery after cancer, I decided it would be beneficial for my healing to unpack all of my photography and artwork and put them up where I could once again enjoy them.  We had moved 9 years ago and they had not yet been unpacked.

I asked Darielle to Feng Shui our house while assisting me with this project.  What she performed is an absolute miracle.  The entire project just flowed from one room to the next creating collections and pockets of beauty everywhere you look, including a photo gallery and work studio which I absolutely love.  The Feng Shui then flowed outside of our house where she and her husband Lan extended the current patio area to create a beautiful, relaxing patio setting.  I then hired Darielle and her husband to paint our house with soft, elegant Cabo colors and it looks exquisite.  Darielle is an incredibly talented lady and has completely transformed our home into a place of beauty and peacefulness.  The entire process has been very healing for me.
